One of the biggest reasons as to why acne scars happen is by removing acne by applying pressure with your bare finger tips (clean or not). Although, it may feel good to give it a good squeeze, it will cause more harm than good.

Lemon juice is nature’s natural bleach. It may help lighten your scars by mixing part lemon juice, part water together and applying directly onto the face.
Be sure that when you are applying lemon juice (or lime juice) directly onto the skin you moisturize as soon as you rinse it off and also avoid sun exposure for at least 30 minutes.
Baking Soda, I Got Baking Soda:
Try to exfoliate your skin with baking soda by mixing it with a bit of water to create a paste. Apply to the problem area and let it set for about 10 minutes then rinse off.
Honey is a wonderful solution into treating acne and reducing red marks. Raw honey will be the most effective. This is a great option for those who have sensitive skin.
Apply to problem area and let it sit for 10 minutes then, rinse off.
If you haven’t tried aloe Vera, well, now’s your time! The sap from the Aloe Vera Plant works wonders in the beauty department. Aloe Vera is mostly used for treating scares so give it a shot! Rub the Aloe Vera sap directly onto problem area for a minute.
Ice, Ice, Baby:
Use ice to help get rid of scars! You can use regular ice cubes or you can freeze green tea in an ice cube tray in give yourself an ice facial.

Apple Cider Vinegar:
Okay, this has got to be my favorite way of clearing acne and acne scars up in the in the matter of a few days. It’s really simple, you may use a cotton ball and dab it onto the problem areas or you can create a brown sugar ACV scrub that works for your whole body!
There’s so many recipes for body scrubs but I’ve created my own little recipe that’s perfect for cleansing your body from all the sweat and bacteria collected throughout the end. And if you suffer from body acne or excessive sweating I suggest giving this a try. I love to use this after an intense workout or a really hot day to help my pores breathe some more and get rid of all that bacteria we don’t want clogging them up!
Spot Treatment Creams:
There are many creams targeting acne scars that are indeed very useful. You may find them at your local beauty supply or drugstore. Or, seek a dermatologist.
