Trying to create the perfect winged eyeliner is a tad bit tricky but it only takes practice. I’ve been doing winged eyeliner since the 8th grade. There’s many tricks into creating a winged eyeliner such as using tape (I highly do not recommend this), spoons and business cards.
However, there’s only two simple steps to achieve a wing with liquid and pencil eyeliner.
- Starting in the inner eye, make small strokes outwards with the liquid eyeliner.
- Gentle draw the liquid eyeliner up to create a wing
Tip: Use the bottom waterline as a guide to direct you upwards.
- Starting with your inner eye, make small brushstrokes towards the outer edge of your eye.
- Keep the pencil pointed upward, brushing slightly upward to create a wing.
Tip: Make sure the pencil eyeliner is sharp at all times.
